Why Choose Us?

It's really quite simple — boundaries built from the delivery network rather than from census geography, rebuilt four times a year, and a phone number that a person actually answers. Below is every reason, in full, plus the emails from customers who found out for themselves.

Shopping around? Ask these

We would rather you checked. These are the questions that actually separate one ZIP Code boundary provider from another — and our answers to them.

Is this just the free Census ZCTA file?
No, and it is the first thing to check with anyone selling boundaries. ZCTA aggregates census blocks by the most common ZIP Code inside them. Ours dissolves USPS carrier route boundaries, so the shape follows the delivery walks. Where carrier routes exist, our ZIP boundary shares their border line exactly. See the side-by-side comparison.
How often is it rebuilt?
Quarterly — four times a year. ZCTA is rebuilt with the decennial census. ZIP Codes do not wait ten years to change.
Do you include PO Box and Unique ZIP Codes?
Yes, as points — they have no delivery area, so a polygon would be a fiction. The centroid file carries the full universe of about 41,000 ZIP Codes against roughly 32,000 polygons. We also tell you which polygon ZIP each point sits inside, which nobody else does.
Does the country have holes in it?
No. Areas with no mail delivery get filler polygons, so a national map has no gaps to explain to whoever you are presenting to.
How many formats, and at what extra cost?
Eight, and none. Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, WKT, CSV, MySQL, PostGIS and SQL Server ship in every license. Ask a competitor what GeoJSON costs on top.
Will you tell me the limitations before I buy?
Yes — they are on the technical specifications page rather than buried in a support ticket: which ZIP types are excluded, which formats carry point records, and which attributes are sparse.
Can I buy just my state?
Yes. Nationwide, a single state, or up to 65 specific ZIP Codes — priced accordingly. See the configurator.
Can you see the price without talking to sales?
Yes. Choose your seats and geography and the total appears. No demo required, no quote to chase.
Does it renew without asking?
No. There is no automatic renewal — when the term is up, you decide.
Are there query limits or per-call fees?
None. You download the files and use them on your own infrastructure.
What if it turns out not to fit?
30-day money-back guarantee, unconditional.
Who answers when you call?
A person, in the United States, on 1-800-425-1169 — during business hours, usually within the hour by email too.
