Can I see the data before I buy it?: Yes, and without talking to anyone first. The free ZIP Code database is a real file with real records, and every paid product page carries a sample download of its own.
What exactly is in each edition?: Every product page lists its fields in full — name, type and an example value for each one — so you can check a specific column is there before you buy. Start from all products.
Can I redistribute the data inside my own product?: That needs a redistribution license rather than the standard one. The terms are set out in the redistributable terms of service, and it is worth a phone call so we can size it to what you are building.
What if it turns out to be wrong for us?: Thirty days, money back, unconditional. We would rather refund you than have you stuck with a file that does not fit.
