APO AP 96503 serves the Joint United States Military Advisory Group Thailand (JUSMAGTHAI) and U.S. military personnel stationed in Thailand. Established in 1953, JUSMAGTHAI is the Department of Defense's Security Assistance Organization in the country.
Thailand is America's oldest treaty ally in Asia, with the alliance dating to the 1954 Manila Pact. JUSMAGTHAI coordinates over 60 bilateral exercises annually, including Cobra Gold, the largest joint military exercise in mainland Asia.
Cobra Gold brings together thousands of troops from the U.S., Thailand, and partner nations for combat training, humanitarian assistance exercises, and interoperability development. The 2024 iteration at U-Tapao included 9,000 personnel from 30 nations.
JUSMAGTHAI is located on Sathorn Tai Road in Bangkok, approximately two kilometers from the U.S. Embassy. The organization supports Foreign Military Sales, International Military Education and Training (IMET), humanitarian demining, and counter-drug missions.

At the Gary Sinise Foundation, our mission is to serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. Among its programs is the construction of specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded veterans that are provided mortgage-free.
